Position Purpose
The primary responsibility of this role is to engage in outgoing sales interactions with existing Verizon customers. Successful candidates will be able to discuss, recommend, and close on outbound order opportunities or by driving customers into our retail locations. This hourly and commissioned position is responsible for meeting and/or exceeding monthly goals, staying informed… on the latest devices, promotional offers and excelling through individual and team performance.
Essential Duties / Role Requirements
Handle many outgoing interactions daily with existing customers regarding account opportunities.
Promote and recommend additional account opportunities to drive incremental revenue.
Effectively schedule appointments on behalf of retail locations.
Communicate effectively.
Stay productive while working independently and as a team member.
Stay informed using announcements, trainings, updates, and certifications.
Document all calls, tasks, and appointments.
Monitor and track daily productivity, sales performance, and opportunities.
Energetic yet compassionate phone skills required.
Great problem-solving ability.
Highly motivational and possesses persuasion skills.
Ability to quickly overcome objections and think on your feet.
Ability to stay extremely organized.
Capable of prioritizing and multi-tasking.
Self-starter with little to no supervision needed.
Excellent communication skills; oral, written, facilitation and presentation.
Experience
3 year experience and success in a commissionable sales position preferred.
Previous call center or wireless industry experience a plus.
High School Diploma
