Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and specialists to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to students unique needs.
Provide personalized instruction and support to students with disabilities, adapting teaching methods to achieve individual learning goals.
Assess student progress, adjust curriculum materials, and apply behavior management techniques to foster an inclusive and supportive classroom environment.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Education, with a Master’s or Doctoral degree in Special Education or a related field.
Active Special Education State Teaching License.
Experience or endorsements in teaching specific student groups (e.g., K-12, Mild-Moderate, Severe Autism) is desirable.
For virtual positions, a State License, 2 years of school experience, and an education certificate may be required.
